The Physics Force is a group of University of Minnesota physicists and local physics teachers who have made it their mission to take the intimidation out of the study of physics. Their sold-out auditorium shows are not only explosive and entertaining, but contain everything a science teacher can’t do in a classroom to explain the laws of physics. McDougal Littell wanted to capture their energy and demonstrations on video to use in conjunction with their middle school science textbooks. Edge Media collaborated with the Twin Cities Public Television crew to shoot the performance live-to-tape using a 3-camera set-up. Edge authored separate DVDs for the Physics Force and McDougal Littell.
